Read moreHere is an interesting piece of work coming out of the film Elements course with Mr Stamp. Students watched and analysed the film Psycho released on 1960, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. They looked at the codes and conventions in a scene, characters, body language, dialogue, setting and the general look of the film. In doing so, they were asked to recreate a scene within the film, the reveal of "the mother". The students chose locations carefully in order to create a setting much smaller than it really was and focused on the mise en scene of their shots. A great learning exercise well executed. Well done Zoe, Euan and co!
